Project Baja, Mexico

Project Baja Mexico January 2025
$475.00

Dates: January 2-6th, 2025

Project Baja is Kaiizen’s first and longest running project. With over 100 trips to Baja and thousands of volunteers having attended, Baja is near and dear to our hearts. These trips are short, packed with fun, and can typically accommodate 30-40 volunteers. You will become a part of a caravan of vans or cars that leave Salt Lake City, Utah and cross the border into Baja California from San Diego. In the event you’re coming from elsewhere in the country, there are pick-up locations in Provo, Las Vegas, and San Diego. Passports are required.

For those leaving from Utah, we will be meeting up and leaving from Utah County on January 2nd. We will stay the night near Las Vegas then meet up with the whole group on January 3rd to cross the border into Mexico together.

We are very deliberate with our time while in Mexico. We are in country a short time, and the time does fly. There may be a language barrier for you, don’t worry, we will help you along. Whether you speak Spanish or not, you can have a meaningful experience.

Each trip includes a work project to improve the orphanage or surrounding community, we will have activities with kids, cultural excursions, and some yummy tacos.

You won’t miss a lot of school or work, and you will have plenty of great stories to tell when you arrive home!

Come, we know you’ll enjoy the experience.
